This is a message board dedicated to one of the best actors in the Philippines – Mr. JOHN LLOYD CRUZ. It is created by the ONLINE FRIENDS. The ONLINE FRIENDS is a group of people who met over the Internet and share a common bond of admiration for JOHN LLOYD.

The message board consists of several categories, boards and threads:

1. Tambayan > ONLINE FRIENDS

- where newbies can read and post messages; 'kumustahan' sessions happen here; you can meet new friends and/or renew old ties here

2. JOHN LLOYD Cruz > Cruz Control

- is all about JOHN LLOYD Cruz; this board consists of news & updates, anecdotes, pictures, artworks, etc.; Note: only posters with at least 50 posts can access this board

3. ONLINE FRIENDS ... for keeps > Secret Hideaway

- this is for the ‘orig’ ONLINE FRIENDS' eyes only

The forum is not connected or affiliated with ABS-CBN and/or it's talent management division, STAR MAGIC (formerly Talent Center). It is also not officially sanctioned by Mr. JOHN LLOYD Cruz. So, the views and comments expressed in the message boards may not necessarily reflect that of Mr. Cruz or ABS-CBN.

The ‘ONLINE FRIENDS’ is not a fans’ club – although we do share a common admiration for JOHN LLOYD and we do conduct some activities related to or pertaining to him (this message board is an example). We do not have a set of officers and we are not ‘recruiting’ any new members. (You see, we are really just a group of friends.)

However, interested people can still join us in the forums. And we can be on-line friends, too…

1.To be able to access the forum, you need to register.

2. Enable your browser's cookies to access the forum. (Instructions available below)

3. Activate your account. Do this by posting messages every now and then. Inactive accounts* will be deleted.

*Inactive accounts – accounts with zero (0) posts; accounts which have not been used for more than 30 days.

4. Please send a PM or an email to the forum administrator for ‘vacation notice’ to prevent deletion of your account.

5. There are several ‘personal’ photos in the forum. These are pictures taken by the ONLINE FRIENDS or other posters. Please ask permission from the ‘owner’ of the photos if you wish to use it for other purposes.

6. If you wish to share ‘personal’ photos, we suggest that you label them accordingly.

7. If you’re “quoting” articles, messages, photos from other websites or message boards make sure you’ve asked permission from the owner and/or you acknowledge them in our message board.

8. To be able to post photos, we suggest that you use www.photobucket.com since our message boards wants URLs of pictures.

Here are some quick fix … for some problems encountered in the forum …<br>
Problem:

After successfully logging in, you click a link and it logs you out.

Try this:

Most probably, your browser is not properly accepting ‘cookies’. You need to check if your have ‘cookies’ are enabled. (For users of Internet Explorer 6: make sure that you have 3rd Party Cookies enabled.)

To enable cookies, do the following:

1. Click on TOOLS on the menubar on your browser.

2. Click on INTERNET OPTIONS on the drop menu.

3. A window will pop up, click on the PRIVACY tab.

4. Set to “LOW”.

5. Click OK.


To enable third party cookies:

1. Click on TOOLS on the menubar on your browser.

2. Click on INTERNET OPTIONS on the drop menu.

3. A window will pop up, click on the SECURITY tab.

4. Click on the CUSTOM button.

5. Reset the “custom settings” to “MEDIUM”.

6. Click OK.



Problem: Forgot your password?

Do this:

You can retrieve your password by doing the following:

1. At the Title Bar (top portion of the forum page) you will find a graphic that says “login” or “register”. Click on the word “login”.

2. On the next page you will see a ‘login form’ where you can enter your username and password to login. Click on the “forgot password?” If you provided a valid email address when you registered, your password will then be emailed to that email account (most probably, in your ‘bulk mail’).

3. You may now use this password to log in.
