just wanted to share my opinion...
After one week of not being able to watch IMBY because of tons of office work, I was so excited and rushed home Monday evening just to catch my favorite series (naabutan ko pa kahit papaano)…after watching it, hmmm what can I say…
…last night’s episode placed me in an emotional roller coaster…<br>
…from excitement…to agitation…to disbelief…to annoyance…<br>
…not at the artists…<br>
…but at the dialogue…it lacks the usual dramatic flare one avid viewer (like me) would like to hear in every “critical” scene…<br>
…like during the confrontation of Ernesto and Frida…I was expecting a heated exchange between the two…I mean if your wife caused you all that trouble, the least you could do is let her feel your pain, hear your anguish…and if you are the wife, you can at least told him what you really felt…the pain, the jealousness, the hatred…<br>
…the scene between Lawrence and Cielo…when the two finally met after their separation…here, I was expecting at least an emotional struggle between the two…but then again, the writers bordered on plain dialogue…this scene should have been pivotal for both characters…I’m not sorry to say this but even Lawrence failed to make me feel his pain, his anguish…and I never felt Cielo’s struggle to be with Lawrence in this crucial time of his life despite all odds…<br>
…the scene between Frida and Lawrence when the latter visited her in jail…I was expecting Lawrence to unleash everything that he was feeling/thinking to Frida and demanding for explanations… no drama there…even when Ernesto gave the annulment papers to Frida… no drama still…very predictable dialogue…very predictable scenes…<br>
…sometimes, it’s not enough that you have good actors in the play …you also need a good script to work with…it’s so sad to see all this talented and promising actors not being able to really deliver because of a poorly written dialogue...i know these writers can do better than that…i hope that the golden dove award should serve as an incentive to do better…the writers should not sit on their laurels because of this….

Galing ng review! i agree, it has nothing to do with the actors, sa script na iyon. When cielo found lawrence sa church, ineexpect ko mafeel yung longing to be with each other. pero wala. dead ang dialogue. although the soap won sa kbp, hindi pa rin niya macatch ang attention ko , not the way ktkh did. if ever they will have a next soap, sana mas pulido. kaya minsan mas mabuti pa na matagal ang follow up soap kesa minamadali, at least mas maaayos ang lahat. like when imby started, ang tagal bago sila lumaki . umabot ata ng one month! pero i still watch it dahil mahal ko silang dalawa!
What we're trying to say is that IMBY has a problem with regards to its whole production and not just on certain individuals as others perceive.
